Correction: 13/12/24: Thank you to Gary Bilani for noticing that PHQ had confused Prog Rock keyboardist Rick Wakeman, with actor Alan Rickman.

Correction: 03/05/25: Thank you ‘Shikle’ for correcting an answer on the Doctor Who round.

Correction: 24/06/25: Thank you to ‘Canary Mike’, for alerting us to the fact that the protagonist in All Quiet on the Western Front did not die on the last day of the war (11/11/18), but October of that year. The question has been suitably altered, although the original three options remain the same.

Disputed Answer: 01/07/25: Another thank you to Canary Mike, for his information regarding the East Anglian derby (Local Bragging Rights). Though, on a technicality, Mike is correct to point out that Norwich City and Ipswich Town have, as of August 2025, won an equal number of matches in all competitions, PHQ feels this to be a somewhat tenuous objection, and since Ipswich have a more impressive trophy cabinet, the question will not be changed at the moment. Nevertheless, if the Canaries triumph over the Tractor Boys in both of the 2025/26 grudge matches, then PHQ will replace the East Anglian derby with the Edinburgh derby. What more motivation do the Norwich players need for the forthcoming  season?

Complaint: 07/08/25: Catherine J has complained that the Shakespearian quiz is ‘anti-Shakespeare’, and has a ‘thinly-veiled Astronomy question masquerading as Shakespeare’ (or much longer words to that effect). On both counts she may have a point. Notwithstanding, at least we can agree there are no factual errors in said quiz.

Erroneously Disputed Answer: 12/08/25: ‘zxcvvvvvvv’, whinges in his/her curt email, about the inaccuracy of question four, in Welsh History. Had zxcvvvvvv bothered to carry on to clarifying question five, he/she would now be the wiser.

Correction: 19/08/25: Thank you to ‘Jam Hot’ for informing PHQ of the incorrect answer to the Mansa Musa question in Gold. We’re ashamed that one slipped though, our apologies.

Erroneously Disputed Answer: 22/11/25: Whilst ‘AlPuppy1980’ is correct in asserting that Apartheid South Africa was barred from the first Rugby World Cup of 1987, (Rugby Union World Cups), it appears he forgot the presence of Zimbabwe in that tournament.
